I’m on your page tigger, have had some pretty disappointing $50+ steaks from some “famous” chain steakhouses around the country.
probably some of the best trout I ever had was from the latchstring restaurant in spearfish canyon SouthDakota.
it’d be interesting to get some of that Japanese wagyu I’m told that US raised wagyu doesn’t even come close to comparing.
