You are asking the wrong person, LOL. And my wife is still learning. But I am sure someone will come along with suggestions.

I will say my wife did use a zip lock bag (after she found it on youtube others were doing it) in her instant pot to do her Sous vide and it seemed to work fine. Don't know about any nasty chemicals that might come out of the plastic, but what we did tasted fine.

Might want to try it on a cheap cut of meat to begin with. I don't think melted plastic and T-bone would go together well. :-) Might take some extra hot sauce to get it to go down.
