Pittsburg, Kansas | About the only thing I disagree with him on in fasting. He brings out some very valid points and dangers, but I think he does not acknowledge some of the later research and practical experience on the subject. At least one of the things he quotes where they measure protein leaving the body has been shown a lot of that is normally dying cells and autophagy of protein the body no longer needs. He attributes it all to muscle loss and that is not the case. The body is continually replacing worn out cells and what it can't recycle it disposes the rest through urine and feces. But other than caveat I think he is spot on.
