You can plant w/ an ATU and SF1. You'll just have to park the planter in your last pass or drop marker if you get rained out or leave for the night type thing. Lots of people do it. Will you be able to spray down those corn rows at speed? Unlikely very well...

Will it be an upgrade over hand steering? Yes 

Oh, and you'll need a greenstar ready harness for the tractor to power display/receiver/ATU or a kit for that series that includes harnesses, display bracket, and receiver mount/bar. At least $1000 probably for all the wiring and brackets I'd think. (still worth it
