If you aren't gaming or editing 4K video any mid-price system would suit you.
Don't get too hung up on massive internal storage they are better moved to an external drive at least once a year.
512mb SSD will give you fast boot up and adequate space for running main programs.
If you do any photo editing at all 16gb of RAM would be preferable.
Most editing programs increasingly make heavy use of the graphics card, see if you can establish that's above average competence.
