Through the cell phone service provider I have placed a data limit on teenagers phone. Believe when the limit was hit, the teenager was done using cell company data. Could connect to wi-fi. Would that work for you?
If you can do this, it will work out.
If the plan you have let’s the data run over and you get billed for the extra, bad things will come from this.
That phone will need a hard cutoff of data limits or you will be quite shocked at the bill you will be getting for the ‘over’ of extra cell data.
A responsible person can live on a couple gig.
A person that doesn’t have much going on and doesn’t have a fixed limit isn’t going to know when to stop using cell data, or to bother switching to WiFi (what does it matter it’s all free to me) and so forth.
Video burns up data rapidly. Everything is going to more video these days......
