Ask the folks with Original GreenStar brownbox displays how that turned out

You are not in “Danger” of losing your activations. The 2600s work fine and can still be Remanufactured and fixed so it’s not an issue. Deere will likely always allow activation transfers, especially if you’re going from GS2 to GS3, so they can make money off the activation upgrades.
