I have a note 8 & note 9. Very nice and good phones, and six e they are "old" you can get either sub $600 from places like B&H out of NYC.

Or you can get a Kyocera smartphone and not need a case on it. They are very tough phones and nothing beats their screen for crack and scratch resistance.

If Kyocera came out with a "note" like phone, I would get it, so I was conflicted when I got my 9 as a backup as the notes are very handy with their stylus, but nothing beats a Kyocera. So far I haven't broken my note 8.

I too am on Verizon. They do have a "bring your own device " program.


Wow - - - - a 'stupid' phone at $600 usd considered 'cheap'.

Given their inherent lack of true usefulness - - - - imo $300 usd is still too much!
