Probably ok but as Cfdr said on here when its ground its different than if it is slabs or roasts,but spread it out to re freeze,use a package and give it the sniff test and eat a package before gifting any,if you feel sick leave a note incase you die,,hehe ,just kidding,my wife would not knowingly eat any food suspect,me just about anything will do,so your single eat it.
