Where is best place to put a land improvement on a balance sheet? The improvements is clearing trees, dozing, burying rock piles... I have been putting them in the blds and improvements section then depreciating them (5% per year) but not sure if that is right or not. Or should one just put it as an expense for the year and move on. What are others doing in this scenario? Thanks
