I’d just move along. I’d look at an Xbox or iPad. Our grandsons love either.
G&G are not gamers. So it seems every time the Xbox is turned on it needs a big online update, which I don’t like. I’m not interested enough in the games either run to learn how to run them.
Grandkids fight over the Xbox and play the 2 games we have, Minecraft and Forza (on the iPad Roblox and others) online with friends. We keep an eye on and monitor what they do online and set turn and time limits.
I realize both suggestions are a bit more money than you wanted to spend.
