I have an extra line, extra phone and sim and number to use as my home internet
So if I or my wife lose or break our voice phone we could use the other as an emergency until we go upto the cricket store, but with no contact nubers an extra phone and sim that is not active would be no value. If you are looking for a cheap phone to use for a month or two while you shop for a higher end replacement, just get a cheapie off ebay or at the phone store when you are there
