Uh, we homeschool. The public education system is very broken, but homeschooling isn't for everyone. I would never condemn someone for sending their children to public school. The Bible also tells you to be in the world, but not of the world. To be in the world requires being exposed to evil. I hate Christmas trees but I've never told anyone to take it out of their house.
Good for you, would to God every believer did.
I won't make a big deal of it, but at least make sure people know what's going on in those places, which most of them don't. We're supposed to be in the world, but to live a holy and separate like as we do, of course. But none of that really has much to do with kids watching the filth on TV, which it sounds like we can both agree isn't doing them any favors. |
