Born gave some good advice. You can run them or they can run you, you should be in the drivers seat. Dr James Dobson has excellent parenting advice that’s worth taking a look at, look him up on the net. Best wishes for you and your family.


I don’t disagree with you and Born. I expected a few answers along those lines. I’ve read Dobson’s “The Strong Willed Child” so I’m familiar with him.

I would still invite input from those who have used monitoring and control apps to deal with kids and devices. I think the time tested “No” method could be hybridized and enforced by an app which controls and allows devices to work only at certain times. Also, there is the ability to monitor and filter content.
