| My Farm Bureau agent suggested their major appliance policy a couple years ago. $25 a year premium. She did say they prefer to repair rather than replace on the really big items. Within a year my 20+ year old furnace cracked all 3 heat exchangers. Got a new furnace for a $100 deductible. I'm not sure I'd trust the "as seen on tv" insurance companies for appliances, but I know I could pay the premiums for the rest of my life and still not pay for that furnace.
