Subject: Fun post how many tractors

Ludington/Manistee MI area

Few days ago someone ask what’s your most important tractor that IMO was a silly post because a guy with crops and cattle may have multiple tractors that are equally important but way different.   Guy could have a 400hp articulated tractor for tillage and a 85hp loader tractor to move bales plus likely something in between all important.

Curious how many tractors others have that are work tractors and not just collector pieces.

Farm with my uncle we got 12 ish total all see some hours.

6080 #1.  Spread fertilizer, haul manure, sidedress corn, auger work, rake and ted hay + many odds and ends
6080 #2.  Spread fertilizer, auger work, square bale,  rake and ted hay+ odds and ends
6080 #3 loader work, and augers lack of spare remotes limits it.
7000. Shares discbine duty and some miscellaneous
8030 bean planter, no till drill, round baler, and occasional discing rarely auger duty
8050 disc and discbine occasionally no till drill
7580 grain cart, soil saver, disc, and field cultivator the little it’s used
8760 Deere finisher, soil saver, and back or severe mud cart tractor.
8870 NH corn planter, fair weather cart tractor
D12 Allis. Loads trucks with dry corn was raking tractor till rake had hydraulic lift
7060 has 3pt forklift from April till October then shuffles dry corn from bin site to bin site.
D17. Odds and ends mainly looks pretty helps grind feed.

Not unheard of to have 4-5 tractors going at a time.
