| John has done a lot of actual research on this stuff. Only thing I can offer is my experience with doctors and my numbers. My opinion is the doc's don't actually know that much about cholesterol. My LDL has always been somewhat high. Some doctors wanted me to cut back on red meat, to which my response was a firm no. Then moved and another doctor said that one number is high on paper but the overall looks good, nothing to worry about. I think this is kinda what John is alluding to. | |
