That is pretty much it but many add a little Parmesan cheese or almond flour and an egg to kind of help the hamburger hold together better.

Most people going this route are doing it because they are trying to cut either flour or carbohydrates out of their diet and using the meat crust is a way to get away from those elements.

Many people probably prefer traditional pizza, but for those of us trying to avoid bread it is a good alternative.
