ND | Well if it is a messenger/private message deal, you bring up the window with the chat in it and click on the name(s) on top and you get this:
Or atleast I got that with a single person. I haven't been in a group Facebook chat so if that doesn't work.. then I dont know.
Try mute, I think that would kill the notifications, or ignore, if not try block.
