Fry, I rate drywall fasteners by the amount of damage they do when they fail. The damage from the little pound in ones don't look much different before or after. The corkscrew type are better and make make a bit more of a mess when forcibly pulled out. Then there's the snaptoggles...I couldn't tell you what kind of mess they make when they fail, because I've never had one fail on me. The only caveat is that they require a 1/2" hole to start so you have to know what's going to cover it when done. good luck -jim
