Ordered our new house without a range hood, we haven't had one in 18 years, problem is they put the pipe through the roof and into kitchen, now we either have to get one, or sheetrock the hole and patch the roof, previous houses we've lived in had them, they rattled in the wind, let warm air out, cold air in, condensate up in the roof, then on a warm day drip on the stove.
