SW So Dakota | I got everything paid off about 3 years ago. It's a great feeling. My Dad and Mom were always my primary lenders, Dad always told me if we had a tough year just pay the interest that year, he wouldn't foreclose on me lol. He instilled in me conservative values and to never borrow money for anything except land which I always followed. A couple years ago a section came up for sale that I always said I would buy if I had the chance. So here we go again. Had to fill out a balance sheet for the first time in my life. Only a 5 year note though.
My advise is to be debt free if at all possible.
