A Red Poll bull will get you brockle faced moderate framed calves with 100% pigment around the eyes. They are a lot prettier than a Hereford/Angus cross IMO due to the pigmented eyes and brockle pattern.
And those heifers would be 0% Angus, so you could maximize heterosis by then terminal crossing to an Angus bull.
