I am with you, and I never use them processing cows. I may have to use the odd time to get a bull to move through an alley, and a time or 2 to get the 1 cow moving that is holding up the the 10 behind her trying to get on the trailer or to keep that cow from running out the trailer door when trying to get it loaded. Like I say there is a place for them and a time to use them, but to use them to speed up ultrasounding is cruelty. For the most part if you have good handling system, the cows will move on their own or by body positioning in the flight zone.
