Subject: RE: Precutter round baler

SC Wisconsin
My baler has 14 knives and cuts it up pretty good, I run the knives in all my wet stuff to be wrapped and most of my dry stuff. Definitely takes more hp to cut it. A neighbor has his own big square but wanted to try cut bales of alfalfa in his tmr. He was tickled when it took about 1 round around the tmr and the bale was all tore apart so he said it really sped up mixing time for him. This pic is of some single cut praise grass I made in July, took 14 4x5 bales off 3 acres so it was tall thick stuff. Way less waste than if I hadn't cut it. As far as tub grinding it probably won't get it that fine unless you go to the 23 knife cutter, but I don't have any experience with that
