Subject: Henslin auctioneer - O’Neill auction Misrepresented?

Drove the hour over to look at the grain cart,, advertised with an 18”auger. (in the market for one with 18”inch or bigger) Took a ladder and measuring tape, it measures 17”.

Gave Henslin (auctioneer) a call. He said it’s “approximately”18 inches. I told him that’s not what it says. He said O’Neils are as honest as the day is long but they’re not Jesus. He told me that 18” is close and not to come to the auction.

I should’ve told him it measures 17 and 16 is close.

Truck advertised with a 409, I was told it’s a bored-out 348...
Two 930 cases advertised. One should say “stuck”,, but doesn’t.
I could go on...

Rant over.

Edit to add, does the grain cart industry make a 17 inch auger and call it an 18 inch?
