sw ontario | I see same for a lot of young people when it comes to livestock , they might not mind being a 'manager' and doing the cropping but them & there families don't want to be locked into a 24 x7 job.....
If i could redo my farming career I would do broilers #1 , layers #2 .....fwiw I sure don't think the dairy guys are overpaid for the work they do ....
IDK how the quota system should be handled as it adds so much cost for the farmer milking and ,like buying land ,you don't realize that money until you quit... | |
