Subject: Keeping a “dumb” heifer as a replacement.

So long story short I have this specific cow that the guy I bought her from was very proud of her lineage and I’ve personally seen the lineage. 20 year old cows he has sold 18 calves out of type stuff. 22 year olds brought $800 after he cut their calves off this year. Anyways she had a heifer this year and the thing seems dumb. It’s an early June calf and it still has trouble following my rotational grazing, gets stuck inside a fence that the gate is open on. She is good looking, but I’m concerned she is slow mentally. How do you tell? Does it matter? She is tame and sweet, but seems kinda dense.
