Slat mats, ugh.    I put those in a new barn ~11 years ago.    Waste of money + damage to the slats 2' away from the feeder = lesson learned.


I've had Northern Lakes do some slat coating work in a couple of barns.     They have a good product and they do good work.    They are not cheap but they do stand behind their product/work.

Also, if your barn in going to be emptied on May 18th, power washed on May 19th and they tell you that they can do it on May 20th they will get it done on May 20th so you can fill the barn on May 21.



I've had Altenburg do some work several years ago.   Not slat patching though, I had them put slats in an old nursery to convert it to finishing.   Nothing bad to say about them or the work they did.
