Agreed, you shouldn't use a reciprocating saw (hand or powered) for finish cuts, you'll cut bone chips one direction and pull them into the meat the other direction. Plus maintaining thickness is about impossible. Talk to your local butchers and find the used equipment dealer in your area, they should be able to find something reasonable.
