If you have a food sealer, maybe vacuum seal it and put it in the freezer for a week. Check for vids on youtube for longer term food storage. Some folks throw in an oxygen concentrator.
If you don't have a food sealer, use an oxygen concentrator in a 1/2 gallon mason jar.
