southern MN | Was doing a little fencing and grabbed an old roll of barbed wire in the corner of the shed, don’t remember if I or dad bought it long ago at an auction.
Went to unroll the end and it was a single thin wire, I figured an end holder wrap, was trying to unwrap to get to the barbed wire and noticed there were barbs on that single strand of wire.
Looked closer, and it seems the whole deal is indeed a full spool of thin wire with barbs on it every so often.
Never saw that before? Didn’t know it was ever made, or how the barbs are supposed to staye where they are?
