We had a St Bernard that had a tumor removed before we got him when just a puppy, and he passed away before he was 6 years old, vet said it was cancer, we fed him steroids I think for 2-3 months, but he go so weak he could barely get up so I took him to the vet for the shot. Probably waited to long but he was our daughters dog.
