Are them heifers purebred? Local sale yesterday averaged $1646 on 448 bred heifers. Was talking to dad on Thanksgiving and there's been some purebred bred heifers going for $1800-$2500, depending on breed and genetics. With the exchange rate if you're talking about regular bred heifers they are more expensive up there. Our $1646 average = $2139 CA
Nope not pure bred, however i paid the same money for open replacement purbred heifers as i did for purebred. $1650 cdn this spring |
