Earlage, and put it in a bag. If you keep the coons out of it, you will have good feed that will keep several years. That is drier than preferred, but in a bag it would keep fine. But we parked our chopper for the year. Its for sale, if you want to buy it and do it yourself:) 2009 claas 870

Are you going to a different chopper?


The 870 shelled out the main gearcase coming off the engine, the one that transfers the power to the hydraulics. It happened in the first week of work when it was hot and dry and all the corn was ready at the same time, so we got a 940 claas. We fixed the 870 and used it to do earlage since it was set up with the corn head adapter.
