SW OH | We also have a 3185. Select low, medium, or high on the FNR lever. Then push in clutch and push FNR forwards for F. Then you drive it like a truck with the 6 speed transmission. Once in 6th gear tap the correct button in the gearshift knob twice. It has a foot throttle and a hand throttle.
In the feild you can pick which gear you want and use the 3 speed powershift to match load and speed. The autoshift in ours does not work. It does ride smoother than other tractors. I was spreading wheat for cover crop a few weeks ago at 20 MPH. At 38 MPH on the road you can go from 1 farm to another quickly.
