Kingdom of Callaway - Fulton, Mo 65251 | I'm going through the same thing. My chute and alley are under a lean-to on rock, and I'm removing them to put concrete under them. While I'm at it, I want to add a scale somehow.
By the time I spend the money it costs to add a scale under the chute, I am wondering about buying a pen scale instead. I think I might use it more if I don't have to catch in the chute every animal just to weigh it. I've got room to add a weigh pen between the alley and the holding pens.
