Beresford, SD | You are absolutely spot on! I handed a western rancher....and great friend his calf check.....Knowing what his property is worth................it just doesn’t make any sense! He as well as many ranchers I buy from are extremely wise with their real estate transactions, easements, hunting arrangements, and block hunting permits. I am realizing there is little to zero chance of buying a western property to expand my herd, the figures just absolutely don’t work.
Edit, in fact.......the ranch market boom of the last 20-30 years feels like the housing bubble of the 90’s into the 2000’s. All it will take is 20 year money at 7.5% and CD’s at 6% and I think the cookie crumbles!
