Good post. After 39 years of service with ASCS/FSA, my one reqret at retirement was not jotting some of the stories the old timers told me.. Then reading the county history books and saying to myself " I wished I'd known that when old so and so told me that". I try use old horse drawn equipment pieces to twist in my corner braces so that when i see them its a reminder of the old timer on such and farm. The older you get the more important history is.
