East Central, Nebraska | so my brother gave me his old phantom 3 (i believe). and i use it a little bit but i am jealous of his mavic as it seems so small and compact and the range is unbelievable compared to the the phantom i occasionally use. i don't have thousands of dollars to throw at this but i don't want to skimp either. i guess i am looking for best bang for the buck. my uses will be almost entirely crop scouting and checking cows occasionally. i used the phantom a couple times to try and diagnose a pivot problem when the corn was tall and got very frustrated as i would fly it a quarter mile and it would return home without me seeing anything i needed to see. the ability to do any advanced crop scouting would be awesome but i guess i have not researched the topic much and was looking for suggestions. i appreciate any replies. thank you. | |
