anybody have some real numbers on what it costs to buy finisher manure buy the gallon? neighbor has some he might sell to me. whats its worth per gallon applied by him? sounds like custom app is .015 cents a gollan, whats the manure worth? i have some low fertility ground that manure is a good fit for. less than a mile haul.
1 cent usd. here to get it draglined on so I would want manure for free as u are helping hog guy....
fwiw we are hog farmers and I figure spreading cost (either our tanker & pump) or custom dragline costs eats up all the manure value, + if its wet u do a lot of soil damage...stop by, i'll give u a bunch for free-u haul |
