Your post did remind me of a joke I heard years ago:
A couple had a baby. They raised him and loved him like loving parents, however they began to get worried because he never spoke, they went so far as to take him to therapy, which proved fruitless. Then, when the child was 8 years old, he had a bowl of soup and said "It is a little hot."
His parents, of course, shocked that he was suddenly speaking, asked: " why have you never spoken before?", to which the child replied: "Up until now, everything had been Ok around here." |
