under The maple tree | First off, I think it’s important to have that conversation with your family ahead of time, and have the number agreed to by all. It’s awefully hard to make a decision when emotions are running high.
Depends on the animal an awful lot. In the past our number was $700. Couple years ago dog got hit by a car, we took her to the emergency vet clinic, and basically agreed on spending 500-700 bucks. They wanted to do X-rays etc, would have been a couple grand, we said here’s your budget give her the best chance you can, otherwise she’s going home for a fatal dose of lead. She got threw fine.
Current dog- well that’s a different story, we need to have a conversation about her, but I figure we’re probably in the 1500 range.
Cat, well I might pay the vet just to get rid of it
