MCT oil Coconut oil. Ketogenic diet. Most memory loss or dementia is the brain cells starving for fuel. Insulin resistance in the brain makes the cells utilize glucose poorly causing a loss of energy to the cells. Ketones are an alternative fuel the brain can use readily. Changing the diet so more ketones are available naturally or eating foods that promote ketone production can help the brain regain the fuel it needs to function properly.
