Garvo, do you think a guy could lay a 2x4 on top of my gaurdrail to get the depth but leave the pipe where its at so they would only have 12" of room to get their heads through? When I made it I was thinking that it is sitting on 6" of concrete so it would be roughly 18" on the side they are standing but never thought about actual depth of the bunk for capacity reasons.
Would you put another rail above?
