| Weaned 2 weeks ago in lot with 99 others steers and heifer.
Some normal riding going on in the lot. Bright red blood on exterior of large nice consistency cow pie( for a calf).
Later in the day saw 550# calf laying down with 3 inch prolapse. Calf got up and everything went back in in few seconds.
Calf comes up to feed bunk at dinner time. Calf’s tail is heavy with manure sticking to hair as is rear end caring a lot of manure ;
noticeably different from others.
Calf’s acts good.
Half way through standard 28 day cocci treatment at weaning. Free choice grass hay and 2# grain /corn gluten mix. No other calves showing signs
Be interested to know what might be going on here.
