Subject: fructose and starvation

Pittsburg, Kansas

I have just been listening to a podcast that talks about how cancer loves fructose, which most regular soda is loaded with. It is a long podcast that most people will not want to listen to but I will post the link here just in case. Raises uric acid and promotes gout. Whole bunch of other stuff. Evolutionary the theory is fructose was a survival food that our bodies used to gain fat fast to have a store of energy to survive through periods of starvation. It causes insulin resistance and fatty liver. We were designed to eat large loads of fructose seasonally (to fatten up for periods without food), not continually. At least that is the theory.
