Linneus Mo.
Price is hard to estimate. With our wacky PPD due to class 1 pricing formula, Mailbox price and DMC and DRP pricing will be irrelevant. IT will all have to do with costs. My are outa control right ow feed wise. Had a bunch of corn ground flood this spring and well it wasn't good. Crop insurance will be ok but itis pricing the corn below the cost of replacement. SO how you control feed costs is gonna be the big issue. I think the feed price pushes the DMC toa favorable price before the price does. I used DRP for third quarter and fourth. Third didn't payout and 4th looks to be the same. I don't know how to use it when the Government makes announcements of purchases after the signup period is over it really skews the market, and for a farm under 200 cows probably DMC is enough coverage.

Alot of my income this year was from gov. It won't be next year.
