Subject: Corn silage

Northwest Arkansas
Nearby corn maze called wanting me to harvest their corn off. It’s about 18 acres of actual corn, all standing very well, well fertilized and irrigated. It’s made black layer and lost 85% of the green in the stalk but still very very wet, mind you this was July 10th planted. Would this make very good silage if I chopped some of it off and fed it to beef cows? Would it need to be piled or could I just chop and feed straight out of the wagon as needed.
