north central iowa | You are getting some excellent tips. If its hardware it could cause pericarditis (look along neck and see if you see jugular vein distended or pulsating). If heart is damaged, the heart rate slows up and causes jugular vein to distend. Hardware can lead to peritonitis and cause gi tract to slow or shut down. Need to take fecal sample in and check for eggs under microscope. Also like mentioned a blood sample should of been taken to run a profile and check for anaplasmosis/bluetongue.
